Janet has strong opinions about what goes into a jar. She spent years working in specialty food, from chef-led restaurants to sales & market development for notable brands. She learned what makes a product worth coming back to, and what makes it stay on the shelf long after the novelty wears off.
Yoli Pantry was the natural next step.
Korean American, born and raised in Los Angeles - Korean flavor has always been part of how she cooks and how she thinks about food. Creating and developing sauces wasn’t a pivot. It was the most obvious thing she could do with everything she learned. She founded Yoli to bring savory sauces with Korean Roots into more kitchens. Built with ingredient integrity. Designed for repeat use. The kind of product she wanted and could not find.
